The lab’s Founding Director was elected Secretary of the IEEE Thompson Okanagan Section for 2026, after serving as Chair of the section’s Young Professionals Affinity Group and Vice Chair of its Systems Council chapter.
Dr. Latif also chairs the Section’s IEEE Young Professionals Affinity Group and spoke at the 2026 IEEE Thompson Okanagan Annual General Meeting at Okanagan College’s Kelowna campus on 27 March 2026.
