Dr. Latif was elevated to IEEE Senior Member — a grade held by fewer than ten percent of IEEE’s members — recognizing significant professional achievement in artificial intelligence and computing, and was elected Chair of the IEEE Young Professionals Affinity Group (Thompson Okanagan).
