The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship (GRI) 2027 student call is open. Senior undergraduates from partner countries can find AIRL’s projects by searching for “Latif” on the Mitacs GRI portal; the application deadline is 16 September 2026, 1:00 PM PT. AIRL hosted three Globalink interns during summer 2026.
Successful applicants travel to Canada between May and October 2027 for 12 weeks of hands-on research at their host university. Globalink interns receive round-trip airfare, funding towards accommodation and living expenses, support to attend events in their field and complimentary access to Mitacs professional-development courses.
